Terms of service

What the service does

DesignMD loads a publicly accessible web page you specify, measures its design characteristics — colours, typography, spacing, radii, component dimensions — and generates a structured document describing them, along with an export bundle. The analysis is ours; the source page is not.

Your responsibilities when submitting a URL

You may submit a URL you own, or one that is publicly accessible without authentication. You may not use DesignMD to access pages behind a login, a paywall, or any access control, and you may not submit URLs in a way that circumvents a site’s terms or its robots directives.

Publishing a generated design system to our public catalog is optional and off by default. If you publish an analysis of a site you do not own, the rights holder can have it removed — see takedown requests.

Credits and payment

The service runs on credits. New accounts receive 20 credits. Additional credits are bought in packs or as a custom top-up, charged as a one-time payment — there is no subscription and nothing recurring. Prices are fixed per action and shown before you start one.

Credits have no cash value except as described in our refund policy, and are not transferable between accounts.

What you get to keep

The documents and export bundles generated for you are yours to use, including commercially. We claim no ownership over them.

That is a statement about our claims, not about the source page. Design tokens measured from a site do not carry a licence to that site’s trademarks, brand assets or copyrighted material, and reproducing a brand’s identity is your responsibility, not something this service grants.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to infringe someone’s rights, to impersonate a person or organisation, or to place load on third-party sites beyond normal browsing. We rate-limit requests and may suspend an account that does any of this.

Availability, and the limits of what we promise

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a given page can be analysed, that the output is accurate or complete, or that the service is uninterrupted. Generated output is produced by automated analysis and a language model, and should be reviewed before you rely on it.

Generated files are stored for your convenience and are not a backup. Keep your own copy of anything you need — see privacy for how long we hold data.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hi@designmd.website. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms; where we do so without cause, we refund unused purchased credits.

Changes, and the rest

If we change these terms materially we will update the date above and, for changes that affect what you have already paid for, tell account holders by email. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. The service is operated by DesignMD; reach us at hi@designmd.website.
